multiVIEW Locates Inc. has been offering a full suite of utility data collection, mapping and management services across Ontario since 1989.  As a professional Engineering and Geophysics firm, we’re experts at applying geophysical techniques and technologies to capture, interpret and present subsurface information.

Who we are

multiVIEW Locates Inc. is a professional Engineering and Geophysics firm specializing in utility data collection, analysis, mapping and management.  For more than 30 years, we’ve collected, analyzed and delivered subsurface data sets and reports to empower thousands of projects across Canada.

Operating out of multiple locations across Ontario, we partner with customers to mitigate design risk and cut project costs. We continuously invest in the latest technology and techniques in addition to staff training. Through a unique approach to resourcing, we offer fast, flexible response times and self-performance capabilities, largely eliminating the need to manage subcontractors.

Where we come from

multiVIEW evolved from a geophysical consulting division of A-Cubed Inc. in the early 80s. The company specialized in the research, development, and manufacturing of new airborne Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems.

We were offering Subsurface Utility Mapping many years before the term was introduced in the CI/ASCE 38-02 standard, completing thousands of projects for longstanding clients. Today, multiVIEW’s clients comprise of engineering firms, construction contractors, municipalities, transit operators, utilities, surveyors, and private homeowners.

Operating from multiple locations, we partner with customers to deliver high-quality utility information and professional insight that help mitigate costs associated with project redesign, construction delays, and the risk and liability that can result from damaged underground utilities. We continuously invest in the latest staff training including ORCGA Damage Prevention Technician (DPT) training, Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) training, Confined Space Entry (CSE), Working at Heights, and more. Through a unique approach to resourcing, we are able to offer fast, flexible response times and self-performance capabilities, largely eliminating the need to manage subcontractors.

All projects and processes are carried out per our dedication to Safety, Quality, and Customer Excellence. To tackle projects of any size and level of complexity, multiVIEW Locates combines in-house licensed Engineers and Geoscientists with an investment in the latest technology, software, and techniques. These include advanced Ground Penetrating Radar, Seismic Reflection and Refraction, Time Domain and Induction Electromagnetics, and Resistivity and Conductivity testing.
