Our Advantage

multiVIEW’s advantage is built on decades of subsurface investigation experience, integrated technical capabilities, professional oversight and disciplined project delivery. These strengths guide how we approach each investigation, develop information and deliver results to our customers.

Our Advantage

multiVIEW brings together Engineering, Geophysics, field investigation, data analysis, mapping and project delivery within one organization.

This combination allows us to approach subsurface investigations as more than individual field activities. Project requirements can be considered as a whole, appropriate investigative methods can be selected and combined, and the resulting information can be reviewed, interpreted and delivered through a coordinated technical process.

Our advantage comes from the people, technologies, experience and systems behind that process.

Customer Commitment

Every project begins with an intended purpose and a defined requirement for information.

multiVIEW works with customers to understand those requirements, establish an appropriate scope and deliver information in a form that can be used by the project team.

We monitor operational and quality performance through established KPIs and use customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

Our resourcing model also provides flexibility to respond to changing project requirements, varying workloads and demanding schedules. Extended coverage, including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays, can be supported where project requirements call for it.

We’ve used multiVIEW’s utility locating services for various projects in the past and found their staff to be punctual and reliable. They use the most advanced technology on the market and produce highly accurate results. I would highly recommend multiVIEW’s services to any organization requiring utility locates.

Integrated Capabilities

Subsurface projects frequently require more than one investigative method.

multiVIEW maintains in-house capabilities across Engineering, Geophysics, utility investigation, CCTV inspection, vacuum excavation, concrete scanning, data processing, CAD, GIS and related disciplines.

This allows project teams to access multiple capabilities through a coordinated multiVIEW team rather than separately managing a series of specialized providers.

More importantly, it allows information developed through different methods to be considered together.

Records, surface observations, geophysical findings, utility designation, CCTV information, survey data and targeted exposures can each contribute different pieces of information to a project. Combining those sources can provide a more useful understanding than relying on any single technique alone.

Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement

Technology is only one part of an effective investigation.

multiVIEW continually invests in the development of its Engineers, Geoscientists, technical personnel and field teams through training, skills development and practical experience.

We also maintain a broad range of specialized investigative technologies, software and equipment.

Equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with applicable procedures, while technologies and investigative methods are evaluated according to their suitability for the project objective and site conditions.

Our approach is not based on using the newest technology simply because it is available. It is based on selecting appropriate methods, understanding their capabilities and limitations, and applying technical judgment to the information they produce.

Quality and Professional Oversight

The value of our work is ultimately reflected in the information delivered to the customer.

multiVIEW’s Quality Management System guides project planning, field activities, data management, technical review and preparation of project deliverables.

Quality controls are applied throughout the work rather than only at final delivery. Depending on the project, this may include execution planning, field documentation, progress monitoring, data correlation, technical review and deliverable verification.

Our Engineering and Geoscience professionals provide oversight appropriate to the work being completed, while project assignments are matched with personnel who have the required training, qualifications and technical experience.

The objective is to provide customers with clearly documented information that reflects the defined scope of investigation and the evidence developed through the work.

Understanding the Subsurface

No single technology can provide every answer below the surface.

Subsurface information is influenced by site conditions, available records, accessibility, utility characteristics, depth, material properties, interference, investigation limits and the physical capabilities of the technologies being used.

Experienced subsurface investigation therefore requires more than equipment.

It requires understanding what each method can contribute, recognizing where information remains incomplete or uncertain, and determining when additional investigation may be appropriate.

multiVIEW applies multiple technologies, data sources and professional judgment where appropriate to develop the information reasonably obtainable for the defined project requirements.

This approach helps project teams understand not only the information that has been identified, but also the context in which that information should be used.

Flexible Project Delivery

Infrastructure projects rarely remain static.

Design limits change. Priorities shift. Additional areas may require investigation. Previously unknown conditions may create new questions.

multiVIEW’s combination of internal capabilities and flexible resourcing allows project requirements to evolve without requiring customers to rebuild the delivery team each time the scope changes.

From focused investigations to larger multidisciplinary programs, we can coordinate field resources, technical personnel, equipment and data-processing capabilities according to the requirements of the project.

Health, Safety and Environmental Management

multiVIEW maintains established Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures applicable to our operations.

Personnel receive training appropriate to their roles and project activities, and project requirements are reviewed to ensure that required qualifications and procedures are in place before work is undertaken.

Field activities include appropriate site and work assessments, while inspection and operational information is reviewed as part of our continuous-improvement process.

Responsible Operations

multiVIEW works to reduce unnecessary resource consumption and environmental impact across both office and field operations.

Our Environmental Policy addresses responsible use of consumable resources, waste reduction, recycling, handling of regulated materials and ongoing improvement in our operating practices.

Employees receive information and training appropriate to their responsibilities under these policies.

Accessibility and Compliance

multiVIEW is committed to providing an accessible and respectful environment for customers, employees, job applicants, suppliers, visitors and other stakeholders.

We work to identify and remove barriers wherever reasonably possible and to meet applicable requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and associated accessibility standards.
