multiVIEW Locates (“multiVIEW”) is celebrating a very important milestone. multiVIEW recently exceeded the 50,000 project mark in support of customer’s utility engineering and mapping needs since resetting the counter on its reporting system back in the 2008 fiscal year. This contributes to an average of 3,800 customer projects per year, which do not include multiVIEW’s public locate activities.
Leading industry player from the very beginning
The count on this project milestone is actually much higher as multiVIEW has been servicing the utility engineering and mapping needs of its customers since before the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) developed a national standard titled ASCE/CI 38-02 (Standard Guidelines for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data). Originally a geophysical consulting division of A-Cubed Inc. in the early 1980s, multiVIEW has evolved into a professional engineering and geophysics firm that specializes in utility data collection, mapping, and management services.
multiVIEW’s tried and tested project methodology is based on more than 30 years of progressive experience unmatched in the industry. By always incorporating the most advanced geophysical technologies and techniques, multiVIEW has continuously been able to deliver reliable underground utility insight that improves clients’ bottom line and helps reduce risks. Subsequently multiVIEW has become the largest and most experienced provider of utility engineering and mapping services in Ontario, completing thousands of projects that include the Eglington Crosstown LRT, City of Markham, Highway 404/Highway 7 Interchange, and Union Station Revitalization just to name a few.
