2018 ORCGA Damage Prevention Symposium was a Success!
multiVIEW was pleased to attend and be a sponsor of the 2018 ORCGA Damage Prevention Symposium this past week. The Symposium, which came on the heels of the Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance’s 15th anniversary, brought together damage prevention professionals and stakeholders from across the country and abroad.
Held in beautiful, snowy Blue Mountain Collingwood, the event kicked off with opening remarks from Douglas Lapp, President of the ORCGA. The agenda was packed full of educational sessions covering the latest news in damage prevention – experts from all sectors of the industry shared their knowledge on topics including legislative changes, COR certification, augmented reality, electrical safety, the latest from Ontario One Call and more.
In addition to educational sessions, guests were treated to an exhibitor reception along with an awards luncheon that recognized excellence in the damage prevention industry. The ORCGA Olympics event brought exhibitors and attendees together to test their skills at a range of activities including utility locating and virtual golf.
We were thrilled to join many other exhibitors to showcase our suite of utility locating services and commitment to Damage Prevention while networking with colleagues and customers.
