multiVIEW trucksmultiVIEW evolved out of a geophysical consulting division of A-Cubed Inc.: a company founded in the early eighties that specialized in the research, development and manufacturing of new airborne Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems.
multiVIEW is a 100% Canadian owned, privately held firm that uses non-destructive techniques to capture, interpret and present subsurface information through GIS products and reporting tools. These techniques include Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Seismic Reflection and Refraction, Electromagnetics, Resistivity and Conductivity Testing. Over the years, non-destructive technology has become more and more widely adopted and is now commonly applied during the early stages of engineering design, rehabilitation, construction, excavation, and environmental projects.

Changes in the marketplace have created both growth and opportunity for multiVIEW.  Demand for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) has taken a greater foothold in Ontario and awareness is beginning to spread nationally. Based on a standard that emerged out of the U.S., ASCE 38-02, Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data, SUE is a process for managing risk that identifies and controls the quality of underground utility infrastructure data used in the design, development and construction of a project.
multiVIEW began conducting Subsurface Utility Mapping projects many years before the term was introduced in the ASCE standard, and has completed thousands of projects both nationally and abroad. With the arrival of the Canadian mapping standard – CSA S250 – and many municipalities now incorporating SUE work into RFPs, the company predicts an increase in demand for SUE-related services over the next several years.
Demand for road and bridge deck inspection services is also on the rise. North America's aging infrastructure, costly traffic gridlock and recent road and bridge failures have engineers looking beyond traditional inspection techniques at the outset of a design or rehabilitation program. Non-destructive technology is increasingly being recognized as an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to detecting issues early on.

multiVIEW continues to be a pioneer in Utility Locating and Concrete Scanning technology applications through our common history with Sensors & Software Inc.

multiVIEW currently provides services throughout Ontario and Western Quebec, including the Ottawa Region, Greater Toronto Area, Central and Southwestern Ontario, Eastern Ontario and Greater Montreal.
